About this piece
It is the verse everyone can recite and almost nobody slows down for. Read at walking pace it sounds like a slogan. Read at the speed of what it cost, it is something else entirely.
This Christian canvas wall art makes you read it slowly. The canvas is painted in thick cream and blush strokes laid on with a palette knife, and out of the right side of the frame a crown of thorns comes forward in deep rust and umber — the thorns modelled heavily enough to throw their own shadows across the paint. The rest of the surface is left almost bare so the words have room: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" — John 3:16, set in a quiet serif across the open cream.
Its soft palette means it hangs in a living room or entry without darkening the room, which is why families choose it as the one openly Christian piece in a shared space. Ready to hang, available in six sizes, gallery-wrapped on a 1.25″ pine frame with the image printed around every edge.

The canvas
What is the canvas made of?
A heavyweight poly-cotton canvas with a matte finish — the blend keeps it wrinkle-free, light on the wall and easy to care for. A soft dry cloth is all it ever needs.
What kind of wood is inside?
Kiln-dried pine from sustainably managed forests, free of knots and sap, so the frame stays true and never warps.
What inks do you print with?
HP Latex inks certified UL GREENGUARD GOLD — the same standard used for products made for children. No odor, and nothing that needs a coating on top.
Does the art wrap around the edges?
Yes. The image continues around a 1.25 inch deep gallery wrap, so there are no white borders and it looks finished from every angle.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. The sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers are already installed. Unpack it and hang it — no tools, no trip to the hardware store.
Delivery
When will my piece arrive?
Every piece is made to order. Production takes 3–6 business days, then Standard Shipping takes 5–7 business days within the US — about 8 to 13 business days from the day you order.
Can I track my order?
Yes. As soon as your piece is printed and on its way, we email you a tracking link. The link only exists once it ships, so it comes after the production days above.
Where do you ship?
Across the United States, and also to Canada and Australia. Shipping is calculated at checkout. We do not ship to other countries yet.
Where is it made?
In the USA. Your piece is printed, stretched and packed by our own small team, then sent out to you.
Orders and help
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, on the same day you order, before 11:00 pm Pacific time. Email care@cupcus.com and we will take care of it. After that the piece is already being made for you.
What if it arrives damaged or wrong?
Tell us within 20 days of receiving it at care@cupcus.com, with a photo or short video of the piece. We send a free replacement or a full refund — you keep the damaged one, no need to ship anything back.
How can I pay?
All major cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover — plus PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is handled by Shopify, so we never see your card details.
