"Surely, this was the Son of God" said the centurion, but this painting demonstrates something deeper. The sense of raw remorse on this soldier's face as he's hugging the cross, blood dripping down from the feet of Jesus, is just so evocative, and I'm using it in church contexts.
I received so much help in upgrading to the 36” x 24” Horizontal “Redemption”. Although my wife thinks it’s depressing to have in living room and I do understand, I found a place for it for me, as there s is the only art I have ever purchased . It’s perfect for the thoughts and questions I have as I get older….
I bought two paintings which are exactly as depicted when I made the purchase. They are a powerful and moving reminder of why Jesus is central in my life and of the role I should play as a true follower. I am very pleased with the purchase and every aspect of the delivery.
This painting is an eye catching centerpiece and symbolic in so many ways. I purchased the 20x30 size and highly recommend the black frame. I only wish I had more wall space in my home to display it.
First thing I said taking my canvas out of the box was "wow" as soon as i touched it. The canvas is not what I expected. I was expecting your average decent quality canvas you get on Amazon for a cheap paintings. It has a softer touch to it. It doesnt feel like that kind of canvas that feels almost plastic. Hard to explain but the canvas doesnt feel like a low quality. Im happy with my order and it is well built. Definitely worth the purchase
Size is perfect, not sure exactly where its gonna stay, right now its on the fireplace so i can see it the most because thats where our dinner table is. Looking at the face of this soldier up close, truly conviction brought him to his knees. We have the word to teach us that conviction is a gift to lead us to repentance, i wonder who the Lord sent to this man afterwards to lead him to repentance.
I hang it in my Sunday School class room. It moves people as they look at it. It is different than other paintings of the cross. We are really enjoying it
